German tuning house Kelleners Sport, based in Dinslaken, Germany, has just revealed a new package their are releasing officially at the Geneva Autoshow for the 5-Series
Kelleners sport, the brainchild of race car driver Ralf Kelleners has traditionally focused on suspension and engine tuning, but has also been increasingly working on Optik-tuning or aerodynamic styling bits to add to his company's portfolio
This new package for the 5-Series remains true to this philosophy of merging handling and engine dynamics made to the standards of a professional race driver and optical enhancements
First and foremost, under the hood, Kelleners claim a 20% increase in overall power output on both Diesel and Gasoline variants, details are limited but these gains are most certainly from software gains made by modulating turbo boost
On the handling from, Kelleners has fit the car with custom springs which lower the car by 30mm or 1.18
Syling wise, working off a base M-Sport package car is a smart move. The car is certainly sexy off the bat, and Kelleners tries to massage the car a bit by adding a new MS front spoiler lip, rear apron and diffuser. The MS lips certainly do the job, but the silver mesh grill is not my taste at all. I really dislike it, but to each his own, and I could see how it would be acceptable for a show car, it does grab your attention on first glance
To complete the look, 20" wheels are a must for the 5-series, 9" in the front and 10" in the rear, with the requesite 225/35 up front and 285/30 in the rear. Plenty of meat to put down the extra power
