I've seen several E90s with black cloth/leather upholstery. Looks reallly good. From a distance you may think that it is full leather. I personally prefer to sit on cloth, but like the look of leather. The black/anthracite is a very good compromise, at a fraction of the price of full leather (with saving to get other options
