Sebastian Giovinco says he hopes he put in enough of a strong performance for Italy after making his senior debut for the Azzurri against Germany this evening.
The Parma attacking midfielder came on as a substitute with approximately 15 minutes to go, and praised the Gialloblu and Juventus for everything they have done to help him achieve this personal objective.
"I hope that I have done well this evening. I also hope that I can be a part of the side in the future," the 24-year-old told Rai after the match.
"I thank everyone that has believed in me, and am looking to repay the faith that people have demonstrated in me.
"At Parma, I am finding the continuity in order to demonstrate my abilities, and believe I have improved. I have never doubted that all I needed was a chance to do this [play regularly]," he concluded.
